Walls Built Like Furniture
A panelled wall is cabinetry without the boxes: fluted walnut, antique mirror, a brass reveal where two materials meet. Where the screen lives, the same wall becomes a media wall that hides the equipment and the cabling and reads as part of the architecture rather than a unit pushed against it.
We build panelled walls and media walls for Orange County and Los Angeles homes, in the same finishes as the rest of your cabinetry.
What We Build
Media walls
Screen surround, concealed equipment bays, ventilation and cable routing planned at design stage, not improvised on site.
Wall panelling
Full-height panelling in woodgrain, matte or gloss — used to give a flat wall depth without adding a piece of furniture.
Integrated storage
Closed base cabinetry and floating shelves built into the same run, so the wall does the storing.
Why It Is Cabinetry, Not Carpentry
A panelled wall lives or dies on the reveals — the shadow gaps between panels, and how the run meets the ceiling and floor. Those are set in the drawing, cut in the shop and installed to within a sixteenth of an inch. That is why we render it first and why the finishes come from the same lines as our kitchens.

What Makes a Panelled Wall Look Built-In
The difference between a wall that looks architectural and one that looks like furniture pushed against plaster comes down to a few details, all decided in the drawing.
Consistent reveals
The shadow gaps between panels have to be equal across the run. Uneven reveals are what the eye reads as cheap, even when the finish is expensive.
How it meets ceiling and floor
A run that dies into the ceiling reads as built-in. One that stops two inches short reads as a unit. This is a design decision, not an install accident.
Hidden fixings
No visible screws, no applied trim covering a gap. Panels are set out so the fixings land where they cannot be seen.
Planning the Equipment
Ventilation
Closed cabinetry around AV equipment needs air. Vent paths are drawn in, not cut in afterwards.
Cable routes
Conduit and access panels are placed at design stage so the wall can be serviced without dismantling it.
Screen size and height
Bring the screen dimensions. The surround is built to the screen, so a change of TV after the drawing is approved means a change to the cabinetry.
How It Works
We measure in your home
A designer comes to you and takes the measurements. The drawings then match the room you actually have, not a sketch of it.
You approve a rendering
Your layout, your door, your finish — drawn before anything is ordered. Two revisions are included with the design quote.
A deposit holds your slot
Once the drawings are right, a deposit reserves your place in the production schedule and we detail the job with the shop.

Common Questions
Can you work around an existing fireplace or window?
Usually yes — that is exactly what the in-home measure and the rendering are for.
Do you handle the TV mount and cabling?
We plan the bays, ventilation and cable routes in the drawing. Mounting and AV connection are typically done by your installer against our drawings.
Can the panelling match my kitchen?
Yes. Same door lines, same finishes — that is the usual reason people ask for it.
Do you build wall panels in Los Angeles?
